Free2Hope Women's Drop-in Center provides a meal, restrooms, relief from the elements, a place of rest, hygiene products and case management services, but more importantly it provides community. A community in which beyond meeting the physical needs of women caught in the cycle of prostitution and human trafficking, mental and emotional needs can also be met; a community in which relationship is possible. Through those relationships freedom can be fought for.
We conduct ongoing case management with our women. Throughout the assessment process, we identify resources and can provide a number of services such as: help with accessing medical services, obtaining social security/ disability benefits, completing applications for maternity housing, drug program placement, domestic violence housing, referrals for mental health services, advocacy, resume preparation, and applications for FAFSA (federally funded financial aid).
Health testing twice a month. We also help with paperwork for permanent and emergency housing.
